| How Do I Get Backlinks?
How does one get thousands of backlinks without posting on forums?
So far, I have tried sumbitting approx a dozen articles and have purchased some PR3 links. Anything else I should do? Thanks

those are both good..
The higher the Pr of the link back the better..
Recently, I've bought a few PR5 and PR6 links.. I'm trying to find a resonable Pr7 link, but they are asking an arm and a leg for them.
There is a link of directories here on the forum, I'd submit to all of them.

But wouldnt a purchase of one pr7 link = to one backlink?
I have actually sumbitted to over 700 directories so still waiting to see results.

the higher the pr the better..
like
1 pr 7 link is worth about
5-7 pr 6 links
and one pr 6 link, is worth around 10 pr 5 links
and one pr 5 link is worth about 10 pr 4 links\
and so on..
I seen someone at dp post a better good break down, I'll have to search for it.

WOW... I never knew this. I feel tiny buying a PR3 link. PR 7 links can be pretty steep.

true,, you don't want to get 100 backlinks in a few weeks.. spread them out
good point Notorious, google might see this as spam if out of nowhere your site has 100-200 backlinks

Speaking of indexed pages.. google officially sucks. Maybe because I kept changing the vbseo settings

google is slow in indexing,try other engines.
msn,yahoo or surch.com

Yea... I was recently told by the vbseo team to not change the settings. Thanks vbseo  I was tweaking it every other week!!!
No.. but I love those guys. They are extremely helpful.
My site has been decenlty indexed with msn. Yahoo seems to be crawling all over my site recently as well. Never heard of surch.com
I noticed baidu spiders which I found humerous.
Anyways thanks for the tip notorious

ya but the google one has been admitidly "broken" for a while. I can pull up the video i seen matt cutt talk about it
that's why I use the yahoo one, and also you will see more results in yahoo most of the time
