Re: How to fix foreign language display

Thats not the problem at all. My problem is only on Forum dispaly descriptions some Greek letters on the link area of the Fdisplay box are coming out in characters as opposed to letters. The Greek language pack works fine. Everything else works fine to in descriptions, posts, ect, only Forum home display it does not work , very weird.

Re: How to fix foreign language display

It seems the only way to view the Greek is to manually go to encoding and choose Greek(windows) version. I even tried changing the charsets from ISO 8859-7 still no good. Im starting to feel Im not going to find nothing. I went and did a support ticket at Vb and the guy on their is telling me that he views everything fine. How is that possible I have no clue. My three other users have the same problem I do.

Re: How to fix foreign language display

I just added a hack to a client site that will detect your language and set everything to that language,, let me find the link

Set forum-language automatic to browser-language for first-visitors - vBulletin.org Forum

you might see if this will help you out.. I didn't really look at the hack, I just knew the client wanted it..

Re: How to fix foreign language display

I think I figure out the problem. I went into my tools through IExplorer and add extra language Greek by clicking the language button. AFter a few more visits to my forum I guess it just setteled in.

By the way I added that language translator on to a test account but cant seem to get it to work lol. All I did was replace x in the code the language I wanted. Signed out opened a new browser and boom still in English. I will have to check out the vb forum and ask that guy who made it..
