My portal needs lots of work.

I found this site through vbadvance's show off your site section. How do I get my site looking like this Marine Aquariums SA

Specifically, how do I get my center column set to display with the text/photos from thread from the announcement sections or a particular forum? Also, I like the look of that skin, anyone recognize or can point me to one that's similar?

I think you can just make a new module in the vba control area, make it a template module, and you can add any html format you want.

I don't really care for vba, so I don't know it inside and out, maybe one of the other members can help out.

Thanks Brandon. I remember seeing Bdude's post/blog and was planning on adjusting the vBa to some variation of his example.
I found the answer to my first question, "How do I get my center column set to display with the text/photos from thread from the announcement sections or a particular forum?" One has to go to the edit News Module --> News Option --> and select a forum for threads to be displayed. Yippie!

Now if someone could find me that same or similar skin linked above that would be great.

I posted this question in the blog, but just in case it gets overlooked.

Is it possible to make main announcement threads span across the whole main page (left to right). Then underneath them, have the 3 separate column like a mainleft, maincenter, mainright?

All is possible, just use different HTML codes.

yup, it's pretty flexable as far as setting up your forum how you want it.

You could even setup a front page that is like www.earnersforum.com each with seperate sections.
Now that isn't vba, but just saying, a similar result could be done with vba.
