and yeah guys..1 more question.. in the default theme.. i have some add-ons loaded..like top 5 stats, mouse over profile, google, youtube vid.. say if i load a new theme..will i have to LOAD these addons again? or they stay anyway?

A reply will be really helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Re: How to set up a theme.

the way i add a new theme:

1. go to AdminCP> style and templates> download upload new style, go to "Import Style XML File" box and hit "browse" find the .xml for the style and hit ok, change "Ignore Style Version" to yes, name it and hit "import"

2. now go to the style manager and click "go" next to your new style, in the top of that page it will show you directories where it is looking for the images, upload the images from the style you have to your server so the pointers are correct.

should be good to go

on hacks:

if a hack requires a manual template edit in its instructions you will have to do that again on the new style just like the default style. if its just a upload and go plugin you should be ok.
