Since it's happening on both my forum home and my 'home' page, it's something that is on both that is causing this. Am I assuming correctly?

So, it could be something with the 'custom skin' or something in the 'header' or 'footer' causing this since they are on both, right?

the problem is with your slideshow arny, i think, i disabled it on homepage and am now surfing fine with IE

thing is, the built in slideshow is probably at least called on those pages even if it is not displayed...

like i said, i disabled it just now and am surfing fine...

Well, I still got an error even with the slideshow being disabled.

But, I have to admit that I was able to go to a few clicks before getting it.

Should I keep going with disabling things?

Now I'm doing more clicking and it seems fine. Hmm...so, I have to see about the slideshow I guess.

yeah keep testing, seems ok for me on IE 6 here at work, and I did get the error before.

just takes a sec to re-enable the slideshow if you must or if you find a fix for it.

I'm going to drop a little note to Lionel so that he can take a look at it for me. Since it seems like that is causing the errors, I'm sure that there's a tweak he has to do for it to work with this IE bug.

cool man, when you start getting mysterious errors you have to start disabling mods to see what the deal is. just follow the steps you know that the vb support team would put you through

errors with the ads, not sure....ill look into it.

Thanks Chase. I didn't see it disabled through the 'products/plugins' though. Did you just remove it from the 'active' modules on the CMPS?

yes, i just removed it from that page, so it is easy to add it back, just edit that page.
