If you don't mind

I sent this in a pm but was told to post it here instead...
Perhaps you can help me.

I am wanting to install blacksmart 3.6.4 but in the instructions it says "Upload the image folder "blacksmart" to your forums> images>styles> directory (ex: forum/images/styles/blacksmart)."

I do not know where this is located.
I am logged onto my ftp and have been going through each folder to find something close but I do not find forums> images>styles> anywhere.

Am I just being stupid or what?

Re: If you don't mind

,
the reason I asked you to post the question is for 2 reasons.
1. I don't have time to give support via pm
2. If you ask in the forums and the answer is posted, maybe next time someone will search along and already have the answer...

buy the looks of your forum, I'd say your image file is in public_html/images/styles/

You may not have a styles folder inside the images one, if that is the case, just make one

let us know if you have more questions

cheers
-Brandon

Re: If you don't mind

Thanks,

I understand why you asked me to post in the forum, but I was on my ftp at the time and as a noob here I figured what the heck, ask the boss.

And it has had 9 looks but no responses.

Guess I didn't want to wait, sorry.

Re: If you don't mind

Did you solve this?

like brandon said, just upload the theme images into your /images/styles directory. If that doesn't work, just install the skin as normal, and right click where an image should be and get the image path and upload everything where its suppose to go.

Or in simple terms, just drag the blacksmart folder into your images folder and drop it.

Thought I had it but the buttons are not working.

Yup, dummy here or new to this you take your pick.

I am learning as I go.

I just took this site over to keep the old owners from just closing the doors.

Some of this makes sense and some of it sounds like your speaking French.

Kind of like me giving complex engine advice to someone that has never done more than change an air filter.

Re: If you don't mind

You've got some other issues my guess is with vBulletin settings or image path settings some where.

chevythunder/images/styles/blacksmart

Is where your images need to be judging from your site, create a chevythunder folder on your web root via FTP

Next inside that folder create a images folder

inside that folder create a styles folder

Upload the blacksmart files inside of that folder.

That will get your images showing up with your current settings.
