Instant messaging in profile

How do I disable people's Instant Messaging Details from being displayed on their profile.

Folowing the close down of the flashchat room this is the next avenue for contact.

I have emails disabled, but people can be contacted on MSN, Yahoo etc.

So I want to close it down but dont know where or how.

Dont know if it's a setting or will require a template edit.

Please help. Thanks

A template edit would be the easiest. However you must edit the postbit as well. Add <if condition="is_member_of($vbulletin->userinfo, 6,7,8)"> and a <if> at the end of it and it should only show it to the admins, smods, and mods.

I've been combing the admin CP for ages now and cant find the settings to turn it off.

So it's not like say email where I can disable them, it will always show for everyone I take it?

I do not think their is an option to turn the IM's off, so I think a template edit is necessary.

Admincp > Style & Language Settings > Show Instant Messaging Program Icons

?
