Ipswitch FTP question

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to display the local computer files (my PC) in Ipswitch FTP Home so I can upload my forum. All I see is the option to open a remote panel on the left side. I'm sure there's a quick answer, anyone have it?

Is there a option to open a Local panel, i haven't used IPswitch in a while, but i thought there was on, maybe from a view option up in the toolbar?

Re: Ipswitch FTP question

Thanks for the reply. I just completed the upload using the upload wizard from 'Start' 'All Programs" instead of using ipswitch Home which shows the panels. I looked and looked for a change directory button to no avail. Anyway, the latest roadblock is that I uploaded them to a folder I created on the root directory of the server space. In other words, there were a number of files and folders in the root including a folder public_HTML, which has the files from the forum I've been running for several years. I'm told by vBulletin support that the folder I upload vBulletin to has to be web accessible like public_HTML, but that folder is already in use. Not sure where to go from here. In order to complete the install, I have to access the forum via web browser, but I'm sure what address to use to get there.

Re: Ipswitch FTP question

create a new folder inside your public_html folder called forums or something, then upload all the vBulletin files to that.

then you can access it at yourdomain.com/forums

Re: Ipswitch FTP question now - New Forum

Well, thanks to a lot of help, most recently from MaddenGods, at 0445 EST (thats military time), I'm happy to say I got my new forum installed and operational. While I'm still not linked to our website yet (pastimeac.org - Home), you can view this work in progress at Pastime Athletic Club Forums - Powered by vBulletin and I'd appreciate any comments and/or suggestions to make this a top notch forum. I know it's a pretty boring skin, but hey, I just learned how to place our club logo in the top left corner this AM!
Right now, I'm just trying to get the right forums in place and begin growing some content but, to all of you who offered answers to the several questions I posted here, many thanks!
