"Latest posts" working for some forum sections but not others

My site has a "latest posts" window shown on the portal homepage. However, one forum section/category doesn't add posts to it, where the rest of the forum sections do. Any ideas what could be the problem?

Can guests read posts in all of the forums except for the one that is not showing up under "latest posts"?

Hi, thanks, yes, guests can read the sections that don't show up on Latest Posts.

Which is why it's puzzling me. =/

Sorted it, my bad, the previous administrator had placed the numerical value of the forum on the Excluded Forums part of the Portal System.

CP > vBulletin Options > Portal System > Excluded Forums > numerical values to exclude
