How do you go about getting the linkback information to show on the bottom of the page?

So on that page... that is all of the other threads/forums that have input that url into theirs?
Or did they have to click the linkback and do something or what.

I am really confused as to how it all works.

I just know I am getting a lot of requested linkbacks.

Will the post show on their forum with provider info?
Or what exactly will happen?
They will be able to tell the post came from my site right?
