Links as Thread Titles

I was wondering what hack is used to make threads, for example vBulletin Optimisation Tips show up as http://forum.vbulletinsetup.com/f7/vbulletin-optimisation-tips-2.html
instead of like http://forum.vbulletinsetup.com//showthread.php?t=2187

Also does this help with SEO?

EDIT: vRewrite - SEOed URLs for vBulletin - vBulletin.org Forum
lol i stumbled on this by accident. :$

Re: Links as Thread Titles

I installed but:
On my site, Page 1 of threads works just fine.
For example:
http://www.notoriouswrestling.com/ww...rney-1158.html
works fine but then when i click page 2, which is this link:
http://www.notoriouswrestling.com/ww...age2-1158.html
I get the "No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" error.

If this has been answered I apologize. I couldn't find a fix for it anywhere.

This page cannot be displayed.
If you are sure that this page did exist then we may be having server difficulties or the page was moved.

thats what I see on those 2 links ?

Re: Links as Thread Titles

No I disabled vrewrite. I dont actually have vBSEO. I do have the vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap generator installed. I was wondering if I need to use the rewrite hack as an add on to vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap?

Re: Links as Thread Titles

I am using vRewrite vRewrite - SEOed URLs for vBulletin - vBulletin.org Forum to write the thread titles as links.

I used [vRewrite] - htaccess generator - vBulletin.org Forum that to rewrite my .htacces file code from the one provided with vrewtie. That fixed the page 2 problem but now atleast one member complained of not seeing images and getting 404 errors when trying to post new threads.

Hope that helps.

Psst what hack do you use to parse those URLs into thread titles automatically? :$
