members cant upload pics to a post

Some registered members are getting this message when trying to upload pics. They click on the paperclip thing and then they get this message.

It's not all of them, just the odd one, have checked Registered Users permissions and all is good to go, and it is not happening to everyone just the odd member here and there.

Any ideas why?

???? you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."
I'm narrowing down the anomoly.

This is what I have done.

The particular members are in the Registered User group.

I have a hidden forum and I did this to hide it but allow selected people in.

Forums & Moderators > Forum Permissions > Deny All (for the specific hidden forum)

Then I go into Users > Search for Users > (get the User via Username) > Edit Forum Permissions (access masks) and give them a yes to that forum instead of a default.

I think there's something going on then relating to this.

Yep, checked them.

It's to do with this I'm sure.

When you go to the Forum Permissions and hit the edit for the Usergroup of the particular forum everything is set to no, so I set the picture one to yes only, now waiting to see if that fixed it. But again, not all users, only the two most recent additions to the hidden forum.

Well.

It gets real interesting now.

What I did was got one of the members who couldn't post a pic's password.

Logged in as him, posted a pic!

I then set up a fake member called Test.

Had the member with trouble log in as Test and couldn't post a pic, but when I logged in as Test I could!!!!!

So, it's the users end, must be cookie related or something like that, maybe Javascript, maybe whatever that Vbulletin and it's add ons need.

So, any ideas what's going on?
