Missing the "Customize Profile" link..

Howdy!

I'm missing the "Customize Profile" in my CP panel. I'm guessing there's something I need to turn on in the site's Admin panel. Please illuminate me! :cheer_icoon:

Hi Lyte:

Go to your admincp >> vBoptions >> User Profile Options

Place a check mark next to: Enabled User Profile Features

Next go to the user group manager and set the usergroup permissions you want to allow to edit their profiles .

Hey... where it says... "Background Image" ... do I just put in a URL to an image? How do I make that work?

try it and see

I think it's built in that you have to upload the images to your profile album.

Well... I did try it and it didn't work. Shrug... so I thought I might be doing it wrong. I'll try the profile album thangie. Thanks.

quick instructions

make a new profile album, you should be able to pick "profile styling" for the type

upload whatever pics you will use into that album

open a new tab/window and go to your customize profile link

copy the image link from the album tab, paste into w/e profile image spot you want

save
