Moderator Picture at Top of Their Forum Page

,

I'm trying to find out if there's a way to show a moderator's picture (small .gif or .jpg) at the top of the forum that they are responsible for moderating. I've seen this on a few sites (probably not vBulletin though) and wondering if vBulletin can do this. It's a nice feature as it shows some personalization and ads some notoriety to the moderators for all their work. Perhaps there's another method for doing this in some other hack or mod that might accomplish the same thing? Thanks for any help in pointing me in the right direction.

Re: Moderator Picture at Top of Their Forum Page

Sure, here's exactly what I am trying to accomplish. Be sure to look at the header of this page:

Well... I tried to post a URL, but it says my post count is too low... Okay, go have a look at any of the forums on creativecow.net and you'll see how they have their moderator's pictures shown at the top of their forums.

Thanks for any assistance.

Re: Moderator Picture at Top of Their Forum Page

Brandon,

Their forums are all along the entire left-hand side of their page. Simply go to forums.creativecow.net/index.html Creative Cow Media Pros Community and look at any forum on the left - one example forum is "Adobe After Effects." When you go to the forum you'll see the moderator pictures, names, etc. strewn across the header of each individual forum.

Thanks,
Joseph

Brandon,

Yes, it is not vBulletin - that's the point. I am using vBulletin and want to achieve the same functionality as that example.

Find the following in FROUMDISPLAY
PHP Code:
<!-- / sub-forum list  -->
</if>
Then insert the code below and modify it to fit your needs:
PHP Code:
<a href="hxtp://forums.creativecow.net/cgi-bin/new_page_wrapper.cgi?forumid=1&amp;page=hxtp://wxw.creativecow.net/leaders/thompson_curtis/thompson_curtis.html">

I had to change http and www to hxtp and wxw. The code is a bit redundant and could be simplified alot which i will try to do if you like.
