Moving the contenst of a forum

I am interested in moving the contents of my forum to another domain. However, I do not want some tables to be moved as I want to merge the contents of the old forum with a new MYSQL DB.

Is this possible and is it problematic?

Think of it as just moving one forum to a different domain name.

Thanks.

What tables don't you want moved? You could use ImpEx to import them into your new DB

I don't want to move all the users. I just mainly want to move the admins and moderators and all of the posts.

Could impex help out with this?

use impex and then delete what you dont want from the new domain.

it's the easiest way.
