Luigi has a spectacular aura about
Need advise for homepage

What should I use for my homepage (vbadvanced or a separate main page)? My website will consist of three features. A magazine, a catalog guide and a forum.

The magazine will be developed through ijoomla's magazine extension using Joomla.
The catalog is being developed in a php/mysql based website.
The forum is a vbulletin forum.

I'm trying to decide what my homepage should focus on: the magazine and it's articles, or the forum and its community? If I make the Joomla homepage, it won't integrate well with vbulletin.

Re: Need advise for homepage

You can integrate Joomla with vB I think, and It would make it easier to use a Joomla front page (even if it's not the magazine section)

Re: Need advise for homepage

Bdude is right, in case you don't want to integrate vb with joomla, you can simply display latest threads on the home page through javascript.
