Need help with my style

Anyone here willing to lend a hand fixing a pretty simple table issue? I can't figure out what is causing one of my weird layout problems.

Thanks

Re: Need help with my style

The website is ModularFords

I needed to add in a side bar for my ad on the right hand side of the page.

What I did is start a table at the end of the header template, and completed it in the footer template.

That part works fine, but I have the main table set to 90% of the page width, and that also works fine, but if you are in the showthread template, the forum is even more narrow. Not sure what is causing it.

have you made any prior modifications to the showthread template?

And have you tried such products as the side columns hack?

Re: Need help with my style

I just looked at the ultimate side column, and for the most part, my code is similiar. Even reverting back to the default showthread template does not correct my issue.

This will surely fix your issue.I had that before.

vBulletin.org Forum - View Single Post - Ultimate Side Columns

You need to add a plugin hooked in parse_templates hook, as in that post and it will fix your alignment issue.

The code needed for plugin is here

I hope that helps you out.
Let me know if you have any problems.

Cheers,
Val.
