New to installing

Hello everybody.

My friends and I have been running a community Forum for about a month now, on SMF.

We've just bought a VB licence, and are trying to tweak VB to be ready to move our Forum from SMF to VB. Our hosting company will do this for us.

They told us that they have already installed our Home Page, but it doesn't show up as that in the nav bar.

I've tried to install the Casino, and I can see it's there under installed products, but that's it . . I have no idea on how to get it to show in the nav bar . . .

Any help is most appreciated.

Re: New to installing

Hello,
I would not worry about installing another on the vB script until after your host has imported the data from the SMF database.

As far as adding links in the navbar, that is pretty easy. But than again, I would wait till the SMF data is running on the vb forum before making any changes to the vB script.

Thanks Brandon.

I've installed a couple already. I guess it's better to remove them . . .

One question: Why is it better to wait till the SMF data is running on vb?

Re: New to installing

Well don't worry about removing, but just in case you have to start all over, no need to add anything till the data is imported.

btw, do the members know they'll have to reset their passwords?
it has to be done with an SMF import
