| Re: Paid vBulletin Hacks That so called speed script is not a script at all. I ripped it apart the second I saw in on another forum. It's a browser tweak and it does not necessarily do a thing. It certainly does nothing to help your server.
I can't speak for the other stuff.
Speaking of bad code... I see a lot of good ideas over at the org. But, the coding is so incomplete and compromising in many cases, it's not safe to use code there without going through it with a fine tooth comb. Doing it's job on the surface is not equivalent to working properly and safely.
The good coders are pretty much gone. Jelsoft has been patching code that is supposed to be the base for something bigger, not a good sign. Jelsoft was purchased by a company that is a direct competitor to many of it's products subscribers, not a good omen.
I think the ride is over and I'm forum software shopping. Anyone else see the writing on the wall? |

However, I must concede his site does seem really fast. In the spiel for the Accelerator he says it compresses html, and thats what speeds things up.

Are you hosted in the US? If not, that's an even better sign about the speed. |

There are a few shonks out there though. One fellow developed a talkerbot mod and apparently kept peoples money but didn't deliver the goods. One can never be too sure in this business |

The idea, however, of a talkerbot mod has tremendous appeal though. I do hope someone tries to develop one.

| Re: Paid vBulletin Hacks How much does it cost to pay per vBuletin hack?
I'm interested in getting some of them but I'd need help with the installation, that's why I'd like to know some info about the prices.
Thanks. |
