Howdy,

I'm trying to install the PassiveVid hack and I'm running into some weirdness. There are two XML files.

1. I've got ... bitfield_passiveid.xml ... in the forum/includes/xml folder.

2. I went to Plugin & Products - > Manage Products and imported the product-passivevid.xml file. And, I when I got to Plugin & Products I see...

passiveVid -- 1.1.2 -- Automaticlly turns video links like youtube, myspace videos, google vidoes into the video players.

The problem is, I'm not getting Passive Setting link in my admin panel. I'm not getting...




Thoughts?

I'm in no way a coder or anything,have you tried clicking refresh? the link is in the vbulletin options drop down you don't get a seperate cp for it.

I'm having trouble now limiting the videos to just these two sections on the forum...

There's a place in the hack where you are supposed to put the number of the forum you'll allow videos and then those become the ONLY areas where the hack will work. Well... I put in f146,f147 and then tried 146,147 but I'm still able to post videos in all areas of the forum. Please advise.

oh i'm not much help with this one,you should just have the forum number seperated with a comma unless you have a zero as your first number.
