Pay Per Post

Hi I was wondering if there was a way in vBulletin how I can setup a section where it will cost $20 to post something. I am starting a business and so far I can't figure it out. I don't want a monthly fee or a day fee, just pay per post.

Thanks Again,
Dominick

Re: Pay Per Post

You could use the subscriptions feature and make a 1 day subscription to your forum, and then put those members in a usergroup which is allowed to post in that section.

Put the threads in that forum into the moderation queue i.e. they don’t appear till you and your admins/mods review and approve them.

Re: Pay Per Post

You could use one of the credit or buxx mods to do this maybe ?
At least you would have a start, you'll have to modify the hacks somewhat I'm sure.
Doesn't dnforum do this ? I'm pretty sure they do and have been for some time now.

Just by the moderate posts, or moderate threads, or moderate users, in the Admin Control Panel (ACP)

Re: Pay Per Post

Use the subscription manager for them to pay with paypal.

When they purchase an "advertisers" subscription for $20 they are an advertiser for a day.

Create the advertising forum so that only advertisers can post to it.

As mentioned above, make the threads and posts in the forum go to the moderation queue.

I think you are all set from there, yes?
