PhotoPlog Lite is a gallery script for GIF, JPG, and PNG images. PhotoPlog Lite comes with categories, permissions, comments, search, moderation. The installation takes care of phrases, templates, tables, etcetera. Just follow the README.txt file for installation.

Requirements: vB 3.5.4 (development based on having vB 3.5.4 though vB 3.5.0+ may be okay, but not personally tested) and MySQL 4.1+ (development based on having MySQL 4.1+ though MySQL 3+ may be okay, but not personally tested) and PHP with GD2 and Safe Mode off

Does it work on vB 3.6.0? Yes, the XML is in vB 3.5 format so import works on vB 3.5 and vB 3.6.

Note on Official Support: With 65 some pages, assuming 15 posts per page, and over 1000 posts, all in one thread, official support for this mod is now held off-site. Apologies in advance for possibly having to register at yet another forum, but IMHO support would be better served elsewhere at this point.

All support requests, except perhaps for proven bugs, may be ignored if posted in this thread.

Comments, suggestions, etcetera are welcome, but please note that further modifications are not being planned, as this is intended as the final release of the lite series.

We're using the Pro version for this site, it has some added featured that I wanted and will explain more on this later.
It was only 35$ and is well worth it in my opinion ;)

Right well I did not like the way the Thumbnails appeared on the Forum Index from PhotoPlog, just made it look like every other site. I also was not happy with the fact that they ONLY showed on the Forum Index.

This is just a nice little change, also my first released plugin of any kind so any virtual bullying will be counter attacked with an onslaught of mouldy oranges.

So here is a little plugin by me, basically just an edit of the original so credit must go to Calorie too. Wonderful thing he/she/it has done with this gallery.

By the way this requires that you actually have the PhotoPlog Gallery Installed. (Go Get it!)

Installation Instructions:

1. Upload the Plugin.
2. Add the following code to any Template. For best results add it somewhere such as the Very Bottom of the navbar or soemthign else which is included throughout the site.

1. Your done.

If you would like to edit the appearance or number of thumbnails shown then this next part is for you.

Editing the appearance of the Thumbnails.
Open the PhotoPlog 1337 Thumbs Plugin for editing.
Search for this Code:

And simply change the number to the number of Thumbnails you would like to appear.


To show on vBadvanced (If you are displaying thumbs in header or navbar etc..)
Admin CP > vBA CMPS > Edit Pages > Home Page > Portal Output Global Variables > add: photoplog_thumbs




Updates:
To install updates simply upload the new plugin over your old one and redo file edits.
