On my Chicago forum WindyChat.com there are a few people who have sent me photos and I want to start out right with a Gallery..

My first thought is PhotoPost vBGallery - the one mentioned on the vBAdvanced site... do you think this is OK?

Here's a feature comparison of PhotoPost Pro and PhotoPost vBGallery... my first thought is that I would like the tighter integration so go with vBGallery? anyone have experience with this - could you give a suggestion?

I see on here you use PhotoPlog - can you compare to vBGallery - would you recommend PhotoPlog over vBGallery?

I wouldn't go with photopost, it's overpriced and photoplog will do 90% the same thing.

so I suggest photoplog

I've never used vbgallery, is that just the default photo hack with photopost ? I know they have a classifieds hack too, maybe I have used it b4 or at least tinkered with it.

I'd have to explain $129 to my wife, she would like $35 slide :-)

I am also thinking a Gallery might be nice to host a Map Gallery on MapPoint Forums - MapPoint 2006, MWS, and Virtual Earth Discussion . I have an old Map Gallery at MapPoint Gallery - MP2K Magazine -- it would be that sort of content but integrated with the vBulletin forum. I think it could attract a lot of interest.

We use Photoblog without much issues. It doesn't allow me to upload .bmp (Paint) files though.
