PM Background - for UNREAD messages

My programmer is trying to code our forum whereby in the Private Message section, any UNREAD private messages, the display box for Private Email appears as a yellow background with a blinking email icon.

Anybody know how to do this?

Thanks

Yes take the if new pm conditional thats in the navbar template and use it to make a style="your style info here" with.

It'll look something like this, find the table cell that holds the all that PM box/username information and do a little trick like so

Code:
<td class="alt2" nowrap="nowrap"<if condition="MONEYSIGN show['notifications']"> style="style information here"</if>">
ALL THAT PM SNAZZY CODE HERE
If the variables don't show up in the above code, its not my fault just remove the spaces. This is for 3.7 as thats the only board i have, but hopefully your programmer will know how its done now if you're using 3.6
<if condition=" MONEYSIGN show[' notifications '] ">
