This sounds like a great hack, only if the admin uses it when needed. I can see how it can be abused though.

The benefits of such a modification out weigh the negatives. Besides the information is already stored in the database, any competent admin can go in there and read it anyway. Granted this just makes it easier, but then do you hold Jelsoft responsible for giving private messaging abilities?
