Points system hack ?


Any idea about hack for giving points to users based on threads, post etc. I know there is somthing like that wtrics.com used it

really ? I work on a few sites that have vbplaza. I have a friend that would be up for working on it if the old developer gives permission. He is also very busy with work and I haven't seem him online for long periods of time tho

vbplaza as such is not dead.
imo its become a bit too big for a single developer. And now we have this security problem too (which i think i provided a fix for without being 100% sure if that alone is the problem)
but well vbplaza is still the way to go..

i use the ucash and its great. dosent have all the extra features and crap thats not needed with plaza. Also plaza has been removed since the secuirty flaw

The sad part is that I think ucash was deserted by the coder too, because it didn't compare to vplaza.

I think some coder could make bank if he actually developed a bug free version of vplaza. I know several admins personally who'd drop a few coin to have a supported version, including myself.

icash is about the only current one right now.

ICash, Simple, stand alone point system. - vBulletin.org Forum

Supposedly the developer of VBPlaza is working on a 2.0.. who knows.

VBplaza was the best though despite it's many issues.

Like I said, if someone picked this up he could make a killing. Must be hundreds of sites running it even with all the bugs!!!

I was on CMX's forum again yesterday and he hasn't made a post in like 6 months.

The people there though are convinced he will eventually release version 2.0. I have long since quit holding my breath though.
