vb hack / plugin development

Hi Michael,

I am a PHP developer and I want to develop a hack / plugin for VBulletin. The problem is that I have almost no knowledge about the VB system. Because of this reason I am looking for an experienced VB developer to tell me how things need to be done. This is like a job of team leader in a company. You don’t have to do any coding, but you must be able to answer any question related to the VB ecosystem.

Considering the fact that you are not supposed to do any coding I expect the cost of this support role to be reasonable (this is the reason for which I am not outsourcing this development completely). In any case, the person accepting this project must be aware that some significant time will be spent exchanging information (for example by e-mail)

If you are interested, the next step would be to send you the high level design of this project. What I need in return is a detailed design of how things should be implemented.

I am looking forward for your answer with interest.

Best regards,
Razvan M.

Hey,

That was wierd. Well I said enable debug mode on your forums and admincp and it makes it a lot easier. You can get the product from Ken Ionvino over at vbhackers.com. Gives you vboptions in acp for enable debug mode in forums and for admin.

If you havr any other questions post away as I am trying to get this site moving. More posts bring more users. Next time post in support .

Thanks for visiting.

I don't think you read my request ... this is weird.

Please read my initial request.

Quite frankly, this is not a good start:
1) First of all, you did not seem to actually read my request.
2) Your first reply was broken. I can understand that there was a technical issue, but you should check your reply to see what is actually entered in the VB system. I mean I expect this for a programmer that pays a lot of attention to details.
3) Regarding this site: I wish you all the best with it, but I am not here to increase the post count. I need to get the job done and for that one I need an experienced VB developer that can help me.

Regards,
Razvan M.

Re: vb hack / plugin development

1) I read it

2) I replied from my phone at work, for some reason it bugged out. Don't tell me howmuch attention I pay when I helping people.

3) that's finf if you do not want to post here, but I am already a teacher in real life, and don't want to do it for coding, which is why I said to post any questions in the forums.

Sorry for any inconvienience this caused you.
