Preventing people from voting in PhotoPlog Pro

Is there a way I can stop people from voting in a specific category?

Basically we had our second photography contest last month and people loved it, though they want the voting to only be open once all of the photographs have been uploaded so as to ensure that every photograph gets the equal chance.

is there a way to close a category or posting or voting and still allow upload? either that or have people submit the photos to you and you upload them all at once.

Thats what I am trying to find out, I would much rather prefer that people upload photographs on their own as and when they wish.

well with photoplog you can upload as user too, so if they sent them to you, you could hold them till voting day and upload AS them

that is a another option, photoplog is pretty flexible...

Well that would take away the fun a bit, anyways got the answer from Morgan:

Same here and my members love it too, though I would have liked if they had their own voting system instead of vb one, like photopost.
