Okay, I'm a lil freaked out!! :unhappy: I got on my forum this morning to find TWO spam posts in the private forum area that's just for me and my mod. The area is set to allow access to Mods and Admins only. How the heck could they have gotten in there???

check your usergroup again, make a test ID in that group and see if you see that area. Maybe you just have some permissions flipped.

I tried that cuz I have another ID that's a regular user. I logged in under that name and I can't see that area. WTF?!

I just logged onto my site again and I can't believe there are TWO new spams posts!! One had really graphic porn photos! I just set the registration options to requiring Admin approval. What the hell....

Okay, false alarm!!

I saw that the spam posts were made at like 10AM and my Mod was last on after that time so I thought they were already in there before he got online. What happened was... he saw them in the morning, in the public forum area and moved them into the Staff area cuz he doesn't have delete powers. I had a "Trash Can" section where stuff like that should end up but had deleted it by mistake, so he didn't have anywhere else to put that junk. Opps! :blink:
