I noticed a problem with my image attachments on my site. I tried to attach a .jpg file, and vbulletin squashes it down to a thumbnail, and only attaches the thumbnail. It doesn't give me the usual thumbnail display on the post, with that thumbnail being the link to a new page displaying the full image.

It only reduces the image and attaches the thumbnail image!?

So then there is no reason for vBulletin to give me the link, of course.

Weird problem! ;)

I poured over every setting I could think of, so here is the only problem I have seen I could not solve. I installed vBSEO and looked over all those settings, and could not figure it out either from there.

Anyone have any ideas, I would be grateful !!

I know some of you guys here are sharp and may have seen this problem before.

well vbseo has some image resizing options at the very end of the list.
and there are a few options in the admincp > vboptions

You might check both those out.

Of course I checked those all out, the problem remained...

Then I noticed it was moderators who were having the troubles.

So I looked, and had some custom permission settings for moderators. Apparent vBulletin using vBSEO didn't like that. ;)

So, I set them all back to default, and *poof* everything started working fine !

Took ahhhh, around 12 to 15 hours total time to track this problem down. Fooling around with some settings and forgetting what you did can have some time consuming consequences !!
