Question with keywords

For SEO purposes, what is an ideal amount of keywords to place in the vbulletin general settings?

i use 4-6 keyword phrases
and I target them everywhere..
like google

We have a few listings on the front page for this

search msn for
vBulletin SEO

#1 baby..lol
to bad msn is easy to hit keywords

Wow.. very impressive Bradon.

I currently use about 30 key words related to trading/investment.

What I am aiming for is for google to show me on the first page with two key words: "trading forum" and "day trading forum"

Should I limit my keywords to just these two? Or does it make a difference if I have 30. I also added the Zoints thread tag system on my site index hoping to see an improvement. Do you think this will help?

We should get some others opinions on this but for me personally, I think 30 is to many..

I'd try to focus on 5-10 strong keyword phrases.. use the keyword checker at Overture Suggestion Tool - Find the most searched keywords! or use the better one at DP and check to see how good your keywords are..

If no one is searching for "blue widgets" then don't try and target that phrase
