The web space that I registered is meant to be used with a .com domain that I didn't bother purchasing. I'm using a free DNS mask instead. The problem though is that I'm pretty sure my $URL variable is looking up the domain from the SQL server or something 'cause my redirect page keeps sending people back to the .com (which doesn't exist so they get a 404 error).

Where do I find the $URL variable so that I can change its path to the appropriate link?

BTW I've already set everything appropriately in the URL settings in Admincp.

Using phpmyadmin look in the settings table for it. Look for any instance of the one you want to change.

Didn't seem to work.

I went into phpmyadmin and searched for the .com in the settings table and it had numerous results. I replaced all of them with the new URL and tested the redirect page. It still sends me back to the non-existant domain.
