Description

This small mod removes 'agree to forum rules' step from registration. The user will be taken straight into the data input (such as username etc) page.

I press manage attachements. I upload the xml and then it says:

Why would someone want to remove the agree to forum rules? It helps protect the owners of the website in the case of a lawsuit if you have the proper rules and policies in there. Also, it gives you a foundation to base the forum tone and some ground rules on what can and can't be done on your forum. Just curious.

This was requested a few time on vb.org so with code from Elfmage I made it into a product file.

Some people over at vb.org has asked about this and there is a way around this.

You could get round this by putting the rules in the FAQ and then putting at the bottom: "By registering and participating in FORUMNAME, you agree to abide by these rules"

That is what I was thinking. I was going to ask yesterday, but couldn't get on the forums.

I don't know why people would want to remove it, but to each his own.
