The only problem I see with "yay" and "boo" is that some members might apply that to the content of posts and boo bad news about their favorite teams... then no one will want to be the bearer of bad news. A thumbs-up with "great post" and thumbs-down with "lousy post" might work better. Quote |

Re: To rep, or not to rep. I originally started using the reputation system on my site, but within the first couple of weeks, I turned it off and installed the Post Thanks hack. It's much quicker and easier for my members to use. It's no use having a system on a forum that not everybody uses (the reputation system). Quote |
