Hi to 30,000 plus members
Replace a word with another automatically

I remember seeing this somewhere in my ACP but I can't for the life of me find it again lol.

It's a page where I can assign words to appear when a specific character set is typed in a post, for example...

If someone types in a post...

"I was on this great forum called VBS today!"

And when the post is submitted, it shows...

"I was on this great forum called vBulletinSetup today!"

Do you know what I'm talking about because it's hard to explain lol.

Thanks.

ACP>styles and templates> style manager> "go" on the template you want it to work on> at the bottom replacement variables....or [Add New Replacement Variable]

if you have multiple styles you do the same thing for all styles...

Thanks guys but that's not what I was looking for and I don't have vBSEO installed.

Maybe it was in a hack that I was trying...hmmm...I was sure it was a vBulletin feature.

Thanks anyway.

I've had another look and I think you guys are right...the replacement variable does seem to do what I'm looking for. Thanks again
