RSS feed set up...

Hey,

Is there a way to have the RSS feeds that are coming into PC101 post the full article rather than something like this...

The sinking ship known as 3Com Corp. took on more water recently. The company's ballyhooed plans to take itself private and emerge as a lean, mean software supplier were quashed by the U.S. Government and losses continue to mount, casting the vendor's future in doubt

I'm not sure I get to control how much is being posted or is it control by the site from which I'm getting the RSS feed.

Thanks!

Lyte

Depends if the RSS feed has the full article.

The incoming RSS article length depends on the incoming article like bdude said. There really isn't much you can do about how much of another sites article you'll be able to grab without it cutting off and posting a link to their site.

Put the RSS feed to moderation and manually edit the news/articles, it should help stop similar threads as well.

Hey hey,

I'm back... and still having RSS feed problem. I go to the feed manager and it tells me that it ran a check for feeds (Last Checked). However, when I reset the feeds and then hit Run Scheduled Tasks Now, there are feeds! Ugh!

Any ideas??
