searchable database

I am trying to figure out the best way to add a searchable database to my site. I want to feature hiking trails on my hiking page in the forum, or perhaps as its own section or subforum out in my main forum.

The main page at GoTakeAHike.comis actually getting rathered cluttered and do not know where I would fit such a databse even if I do find software or figure out a way to do one.

I've used a nice little program that would scann my whole site and then build a database for it, with search.php files.

give me a min, I'll try searching for it

yeah it would be good to try and configure it for a search able DB for ringtones and wallpapers and whatnot. We have wanted to do it for a long time, but we are lazy....lol
