Hello everyone,

I was wanting to know if someone here knows how to move the similar threads display, to a different position on the showthread page

very simple...

open the template SHOWTHREAD, you will find:

Code:

$similarthreads

$footer

... simply move the "$similarthreads" part wherever you wish, taking in count that it's a

HTML Code:

<table>stuff here</table><br>

there are a lot of forums, including this one that uses similar threads, all you are doing is moving the placement elsewhere...which begs the questions, where are you moving it?

Ahh Caddyman,

I was not meaning that I have not seen the similar threads display on other sites, I mean a site that has moved the placement of the similar threads display. as I did see one and thats where I got the idea from.

I want to move it up so it displays just under the tags display and above the Quick reply area.

I think that when I get visitors from a Google search, they dont see it as it is at the bottom of the page.

If they do see it it will encourage them to click on something similar and keep them on the site longer.

What do you think about this idea?

nexia did provide the answer for this, but I have not done it yet.
I will do the edit today to my forum and see how it goes,

try posting that right below first post. google search would reveal many people want this, but no1 has a solution
