Something weird with the VB RSS feeder...

I have four RSS feeds set up in my RSS manager and the problem is that they don't run automatically when I've set them. But they do run if hit the "Run Scheduled Task Now" button. What's up with that??

Does your FOOTER template contain the cronimage variable?

Like bdude said make sure $cronimage is in the footer

And make sure you've got the cron script enabled in the Scheduled Task Manager in the admincp

Yep - that's the code that tells vB to do any needed scheduled tasks.

Re: Something weird with the VB RSS feeder...

was it already in the footer? It doesn't need to be there twice incase it is. (which it looks like it is from looking at your source code)

I'd remove one of the $cronimage

And continue to step 2 in trouble shotting this.

Look in your AdminCP -> Scheduled Tasks and make sure none of them are disabled.
