tcpsndbuf size

I seem to be hitting the tcpsndbuf max size occasionally, my host says they can not change it (there is plenty of free ram) and if I want it raised, I need to upgrade to a larger plan.

Was just curious as to what kind of tcpsndbuf size you guys have on your VPS plans?

Re: tcpsndbuf size

tcpsndbuf

The total size of buffers used to send data over TCP network connections. These socket buffers reside in “low memory”.

To check it, log in to Virtuozzo Power Panel then click on resources link, then on extend, then expand the Secondary UBC Parameters and you will see it there.

Re: tcpsndbuf size

Finally decided to upgrade to the larger plan after having a long chat with Knowhost's CTO, Paul. Even though Paul was ready to raise the tcpsndbuf size (which they normally don't), after he gave me all the facts and explained in length about all the things, I just felt that it would be much better to just upgrade the plan and things have been running smoothly ever since.
