Is there a Mod for a "Comments Section"?

I have a debate forum, and I'm going to start holding 1v1 debates with a winner announced at the end. Two members will debate back and forth, and when they are done, I'd like other members to be able to add comments like, "Good Job!" However, I don't want the comments to look like they are part of the thread. I want there to be a sort of "comments section"...

Any ideas? Is there a mod for this?

Found one: Super quick thread comments system - vBulletin.org Forum

I think that'll do, but I haven't installed it yet.

Hope it works for you, I've never tried that mod.
You'll have to let us know how you like it.

cheers

It wasn't what I had in mind.

The comments looked the way I wanted them to look; for example:

CMartucci Says:
Blah blah blah

You know, similar to the comments in our profiles.

However, what this mod did was change all posts after the first post in a thread to that format. So only the first post showed up normally, and all replies after that were made into "comments". That's not what I want.

Here's what I want. I have the "Private Debate" modification installed (Private Debates - vBulletin.org Forum). That means when you create a new thread, you designate what users are allowed to respond.

However, I'd still like other users to be able to post comments as the debate progresses. I need some sort of plugin that makes this possible.

I've never seen anything like it. It's just something I wanted.

I can just open the thread to everyone at the end of a debate, but I don't want the posts saying "GOOD JOB!" to show up like regular posts.

If not a "comments section", I at least want something to separate the comments from the real debate.

I liked the comments Mod that was posted...but I found a "defect" for my forum...it does not allow attachments to show up.

Oh I think I see the picture here

For example, You(CMartucci) and I have a one on one debate and the only posts that are going to displayed are only our posts, the rest like Brandon's comments will be classified as a comment.

did I get that right?
