Thread Subscription by Forum

I'm wondering if its possible to have Thread Subscriptions enabled in specific forums of a site.

I'd like to have it in just my "classified" forum, but not the others by default, is this possible?

I believe the Forum Subscription setting is forum-wide, however is possible for users to subscribe to individual forum

Yeah, i know they can subscribe to specific forums, but I'd like it to be defaulted to subscription when they sign up just for that specific forum.

I just spent the last few minutes playing around in the ACP- I can't find anything to specify forced subscriptions on a forum-specific level.
