Install updates and third party softwares and extensions, optimize your vps, fix any problem you are facing with the vps, help you transfer sites to the new vps (as long as both have the same control panel), basically every thing that is needed to make sure that your server runs fine and you only need to work on your sites.

I was having problem with my forum not running as fast as I would have liked, ticket was escalated to the Knownhost CTO, Paul (that too in the weekend) and we worked on the issue for an hour or so, till I was satisfied with the performance of my vps.
