I am trying to insert a value into a profile field during regitration.

This is easy enough for username etc but I cant seem to do it for profile fields.

I have tried evrything I can think of including adding form input type into template and php code into register.php, but I cant get it to add the value to the db.

somebody on vb.org suggested a plugin to intercept the values but I am not sure how to do this.

anyone done anything like this.

P.S. the reason I am trying to do this is iuntergration with aweber, I have already asked the questions and have the answers I need and want to pass the values to vbulletin via the post moethod.
