Upgrading after modding vbulletin db tables

,

I've used vBulletin for the member management system of my site which has quite a bit going on outside of the forum. I've probably added 6 or 7 fields to the userfield table which vBulletin sets aside for the use of custom fields and such.

I saw that there new version of vBulletin is out. (When is there not a new version out?

Anyway, I was wondering if fields in the MySQL database would get messed up by upgrading. Does anyone know?

I'll be sure to back everything up before I upgrade anyway, but I was just curious if anyone else had similar issues.

Re: Upgrading after modding vbulletin db tables

I wouldn't think it would affect any added tables.
Might want to wait until a programer takes a look at this question, but I wouldn't think they would be changed.
