Re: Upgrading Help Needed... I sent a note to my webhost because it states that I should be getting that from them. They did the original install and I don't have the information that they originally placed in there. Would they be able to help me with that? And, is that all that's keeping me from this? I don't have the 'old' one to compare it with as the instructions said to rename the config.php new file to config.php. Sheesh. Quote |

When I enter the username and password that have been assigned to my database and place it into the ****** MASTER DATABASE USERNAME & PASSWORD ****** piece of the config.php, I get the following database message... Cannot use database forum MySQL Error : Access denied for user 'XXXX_XXXXX'@'localhost' to database 'forum' Error Number : 1044 .....what am I doing wrong? Can anyone give me an educated guess?
