Guys and gals,

I haven't had the pleasure of upgrading since I purchased my license a little over a month ago. Now that 3.6.9 is going and 3.7.0 should be completed for upgrade and out of testing soon, what do I do?

Do I have to upgrade? If I upgrade will it cause any issues? Will I have to reinstall hacks or do anything new? Or, will it be a completely easy process causing no issues whatsoever.

Just want to know what I should expect if/when I upgrade.

I would backup your forum before you do anything.
Then I would make a copy of your forum on a dev.yoursite.com url, and try upgrading that first.
Then if everything works like it should, make another back up of your forum, and update the yoursite.com url.

Also, is it okay to 'skip' an update and go to 3.7.0 from 3.6.8? Or, do I need to upgrade to 3.6.9?

I know with almost everthing, it's fine to go to the latest. But, just wondering if there would be any glitches that I'd have to keep watch for.

you can upgrade it to 3.7 from 3.6.8.

btw 3.7 gold is scheduled to be out the coming week.
