Heya,

I've got a forums that Brandon helped me to set up. However, for the past one week I am stuck on this specific problem. This set up however worked previously but something that I did messed it up now.

This is the problem.

I've set user groups. The first user group which is called "Newbie TPer" has some disadvantages such as it will have "Forums Rules" displayed as a link, no usage of custom user titles etc.

However, I set up some promotions like this

1. Move registered users > Newbie Tper
Settings I've provided are "0" for registered days and I told it to move the primary usergroup to "Newbie TPer" (so if the registered users who have 0 as number of days registered, they will move to Newbie TPer usergroup) This however is working

2. Now I set the second promotions as this

Newbie TPer > Active TPer (based on 50 posts)
So Here I set a promotion so that when a Newbie user hits 50 posts, he will be moved to Active TPer (where he'll get more advantages around forums)

However this and other promotions (such as Active TPer > Addicted Tper based on 250 posts) are not working!

Any helps here?

- I've removed all user titles and also override them in user groups.

I'll let someone with more usergroup experience try and help out first then if nothing happens in a few days, I'll dig into it. I'm a little short on time right now, I'll be back this eve.

How are they not working? Are they not working because they can't view certain sections... or are they not working because it doesn't give them that usergroup once they hit it? Or is it not working because it doesn't give them primary?

There are more settings than those you listed, any of which can have an effect - post screenshots of the three promotions you have setup so we can see them.

are the crons running on your forum ??? And do you have people coming on your forum since a little hidden code triggers the crons, if no one comes, crons don't run
