Re: vBulletin 3.7 - First Look

Gonna be a total messy update for me. 3 heavily hacked forums to upgrade!
And i thought this would take long so was coding a fantasy football league while the things were stable
looks great though

Re: vBulletin 3.7 - First Look

This latest version looks impressive. Many features I've been wanting to add myself. A better photo gallery & custom user profile pages. Guess this will be quite a hassle for those whose forums are heavily hacked to perform these functions!

Looks more MySpace-ish, but that's what people what now. Customizable everything.

Re: vB 3.7

Do you mean uninstall?

By the way, regarding vBulletin 3.7 - has anyone played with it? Does it work OK or are there problems? Should we expect a vBulletin 3.7 release candidate first?

I am curious about when it comes out, should I wait a day or two or a month to install to let them work out any bugs or are new versions of vBulletin always safe to install?

Thanks,
Eric

The beta will start when they think it's stable enough. Looking at the bug list, that's not likely to be this week.

Re: vB 3.7

Lots and lots of bugs. I will run on a test server befor hand. Update my hacks as well.

And from my understanding, most hacks should work. They are going to add a new hooks and template hooks
