vB 3.7

Just had a look on the vB.com and had a look at the new features of vB 3.7 and just wondered about the new features...what if I already have some as add ons, rather than disabling them can i safely remove them...i presume its not as easy as just deleting the files?

It isn’t out yet, they have just released few screen shots of it. Though they will be implementing it on vbulletin support forum on the 26th for testing before releasing it to public.

I'm sure it will be a few weeks before it will be available for beta testing.

It seems very awesome... but could you imagine having to have all new mods recoded? And if they authors are willing to do so? EEKK!

Going to be great, but I will wait until after Crimbo before I try it out!

I have heard that they are releasing vB 3.6.9 - is that true?

Only got 5 mods on my boards, out of which 2 will be taken off once 3.7 comes out. The only thing I am worried about at this point is having to recode skins, especially for the new profile page.

Re: vBulletin 3.7 - First Look

I don't see why mods wouldn't work with 3.7.0.
I had a chance to glance over the thread at vb.com and it looks like we'll remove the profile mods we use here and maybe the thread tagging we use. I would like to see zoints intergration, or maybe even a thread cloud on vb.com from all the sites.
